It’s officially Spring when tulips are blooming! You will find hundreds of tulips in many colors in the flower field near the water tower up in Bruderholz. You can pick your own tulips while enjoying fresh air and sunshine!
Shears and rubber clogs are provided. Pick the flowers you want and pay for it, on the honour system, with cash in a lockbox.
Select buds that are beginning to spread their petal tips but haven’t yet opened fully. Cut the stem at a 45-degree angle to ensure a long vase life.
A bouquet of fresh cut flowers will be yours for about CHF 10. See…sometimes happiness CAN be bought!
