Ta daaa! Here it is! Brand new and beautiful restaurant! Zum Onkel opened in Klein Basel a couple of weeks ago.

The Uncle only cooks with seasonal products. The menu changes everyday! Polenta-lasagna with cherry tomatoes, leeks and capers… wild boar ribs with Hokkaido pumpkin sauce and Venere black rice… Pineapple tarte tatin with homemade red berry sorbet…

With his open kitchen that makes your mouth water, postcards and photographs from his travels in every corner, the Onkel has ( re) invented the home-style restaurant. It is so good !
